Learning a Play!
16/06/11
Today we did plays about Bees. They were Awesome!. During the play some people were being really silly but at the end we did do a good play. When we do the play perfectly we will get to record it and after that we even might post in on the blog! At the start of the play Some of us play a cool tune on the guitar. When we are good at doing the play we may be able to use props and show assembly and it will be awesome! So thank you for reading this and hope you have fun checking out our blog we hope you have fun seeing what our blog is capable of.

Matariki Newspapers
On the 2nd of June it was Matariki. Room 5 were given some newspapers on Matariki to read and fill in the challenging questions. Room 5 students worked together with the buddy that they sit next to, like these two students Holly and Josh. Matariki is the New Maori Year, when seven stars can be seen in the sky. There are several Maori legends about the seven stars of Matariki. The Greek call Matariki the Pleiades. The Japanese call it the Subaru. Arcording to the Maori there are two meanings for Matariki, tiny eyes (mata riki) or eyes of God (mata ariki.) -Reporters Roshni and Briar.
