Room 5 learn about their new blog

We have been looking at our new blog and learning how to put a post on. Everyone will get a turn to be the class reporter.

Making a Speech....

At the moment we are busy writing and then delivering speeches about a place that is special to us and our families. We have been learning how to make cue cards which we use to prompt us . Some important points to remember are;

• Stance ie standing with both feet on the ground
• making eye contact with the audience
• speaking clearly and with adequate volume
• speaking fluently ie without "um" or "aaah"
• use cue cards

Some of us have given our speeches at Junior Assembly.
